Woman of the people

It’s officially Spring which also means that our Genevieve super-wonder girl is another year older, 5. Years. Old. Wow.  The super-wonder girl bit is no exaggeration either.  This girl is brave and fast and fierce and fun.  She’s almost always the first one to work up the nerve to do scary things, like getting her ears pierced and jumping off the high dive-all the while leading others in her wake of courage.  When she sets her mind to something, she practices and practices and practices until she masters it.  Most importantly, she is kind and loving to her friends and sisters, loves Jesus, and is a quiet, yet confident leader.  Everyday I see her living up to the meaning of her name “Woman of the people.”
