A new year in a new town has been opportunity for some new traditions. This year we’ve been blessed to meet some amazing new friends here in Bend, who happen to be newbies to the area too, so we are all figuring out life here together. Yesterday spending the day with Joni, Michael and their kids was an Easter tradition in the making-we met up for Saturday brunch, a jaunt on the playground, then the afternoon coloring eggs. The kids just love spending time together and us adults never seem to run out of stuff to talk and laugh about. It’s been such a gift to start life out in a new place with other folks doing the same and having come from the same place. We are feeling so thankful for all that God has been doing in this season of our lives :)
…And here are my gorgeous girls on Sunday morning. There was an Easter egg hunt of epic proportions at our church, where the girls cleaned up on massive amounts of candy. They once again had a blast and quite possibly might be on a sugar high until Christmas.
