I totally had one of the best Mother’s Day weekends ever, so I just had to make a blog post about it! We went “glam-ping” with all of my side of the family (minus Kristin’s husband Chad) at LaPine State Park, complete with our new camper, our new dog, full hook-ups, and all the cousins. It was so much fun, and the perfect way to commence our camping adventures around Central Oregon.
Look closely at the next sequence going down the left side of the photo collage. Inga watches Anna try to do a handstand, then attempts herself (I so wish that one wasn’t blurry, but had to include her biff-ing it). She had a nice recovery though, and no injury! Lol
I think this shot of Aksel and Everly is one of my favorite’s from the whole weekend…Isaac is a BB gun marksman. We did several takes to capture the cans exploding and he nailed them on the first try every time. He also is an excellent teacher, he showed me girls how to do it to and they both nailed a couple of cans too. Treasure hunting with Papa’s metal detector. Lots of bottle caps and pennies found. I think the biggest score was an old tent spike :) Kiki rescued a butterfly from Everly’s splash table and the girls tried to “help” it back to safety.
Isaac was our fire master, always keeping it going Everly got dirty for the first time…I think she liked it ;)And Obi did his best to not leave one scrap of food for the squirrels…or the kids
